What is CCC?
CCC (China Compulsory Certification,or 3C for short) is a statutory mandatory safety certification system, protecting the rights and interests of consumers and strengthening quality management in accordance with the laws and regulations. In 2001, AQSIQ(Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine) issued the first directory of mandatory product certification, including household appliances, automobile, safety glass, medical equipment, wire and cable, toys etc. CQC(China Quality Certification) is assigned to be in charge of 3C certification of 146 products in 18 categories within the 3C directory. All products that are listed in the catalogue must be certified by 3C before being sold in China.
