In Chinese Food Safety Law, it has been stipulated that overseas food producers shall register with Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine (AQSIQ) in order to export food products to China. Such products can only be imported into China after successful registration.

Meat products, aquatic products and dairy products are listed in the Implementation - Catalogue for Registration of Overseas Producers of Imported Food- by the Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine (AQSIQ).
